Spoken English Levels FAQ
Find the right level and understand our teaching approach.
Q. How long does it take to complete a level?
Each level typically takes 4-8 weeks depending on the frequency of classes and your practice commitment. A full journey from Beginner to Advanced takes approximately 6-9 months.
Q. What level do I start at?
We conduct a free placement assessment including a speaking interview and written test to determine your current proficiency and recommend the right starting level.
Q. Are the classes one-on-one or group?
We offer both. One-on-one classes focus entirely on your specific needs. Group classes (maximum 8 students) provide more opportunities for peer interaction and group discussions.
Q. Will I receive study materials?
Yes. Each level comes with comprehensive digital and printed materials including workbooks, vocabulary lists, audio resources, and access to our online practice portal.
Q. Can I skip a level if I am already proficient?
Yes. Based on the placement assessment, we can place you at the appropriate level. You do not need to start from the beginning if you already have foundational skills.
Q. Do you offer interview preparation?
Yes. Our Advanced level includes dedicated modules on interview preparation, presentation skills, and group discussion techniques for professional contexts.
Q. How is pronunciation taught?
We use a combination of phonetics training, minimal pair exercises, shadowing techniques, and individual feedback sessions to improve clarity and accent reduction.
Q. What topics are covered in conversation practice?
Topics range from daily life and travel to business, technology, current events, and abstract concepts — progressing in complexity as you move through levels.
Q. Is there a certificate after completion?
Yes. Upon successfully completing each level, you receive a certificate of achievement. The Advanced level certificate includes a detailed CEFR-aligned proficiency statement.
Q. Can I switch from group to one-on-one classes?
Absolutely. You can switch between group and individual sessions at any time to match your learning preferences and schedule.
